Pricing and Plans
Diode Drive has four plans that each Zone can subscribe to:
- Nomad - The default free plan for individuals. We want to ensure individuals can achieve the basics of information self custody with the Nomad plan.
- Freelancer - The entry paid plan for independent professionals who use Diode Drive to share files and communicate with their customers.
- Business - The paid plan for small to medium businesses who want to use Diode Drive to enable their team and business operations.
- Enterprise - This is a custom plan for organizations who need special features, limits, support, or billing arrangements. It is not a self-service plan, so please contact us for Enterprise.
When a Zone is created, it automatically starts at the Nomad plan and can be upgraded to a higher plan via the Settings page. Here is a video demonstrating upgrading a Zone's plan:
Plans and Features
All plans get you peer-to-peer and end-to-end encrypted chat, file collaboration, and link sharing to give you the capabilities needed to protect your information and reclaim your digital sovereignty. See the table below for details on other features that vary from plan to plan.
Owner, Admin, Member
Basic email support for feature questions.
Premium email support with 24 hour response time and implementation guidance.
Team Members can chat with each other and can view/edit Zone files for easy collaboration.
Team Members can be assigned different roles, that give them different permissions. Each Zone may only have one Owner.
Web Links are used to share files and folders with others who do not have Diode Drive installed. They can use a browser to access the information.
A Zone's web link landing page (aka Share Page) can be customized to use a custom logo, company name, and footer message.
Invitation codes are used to invite new Team Members to join a Zone (as opposed to explicitly inviting each Team Member via their username)
"Deleted Files Backup" - turn on file backups to protect files from accidental deletion.
The Diode team provides email support to help you or Team Members with questions or problems.
