Remote API v2.1

A new version of the API was released that supports a more robust variety of channel names.

Protect broken Windows paths from generating an error in the MD file previewer

If a broken path (e.g. video or image path that could not be rendered) was created in an MD file, the MD editor would auto-insert certain characters that sometimes broke the MD file previewer on certain Windows systems. The edge case has now been fixed and the previewer handles the broken path gracefully.
